I'm pretty sure all the above files comprise an uncredited crack of Broderbund's Space Quarks. SPACE QUARKS starts it up obviously and BLOADS the other files except, somehow, for PU. perhaps UP loads it. Weird.
B 080 SHOOTING ALIEN
a freeware game seemingly made by some kid for a hobby project and then gifted to their local user group. not bad for an arcade game made by some kid, a Galaxian-like shooter. seems like it might be simple enough to study and try to learn a little about game programming.
*B 190 PLASMANIA
There are more crack credits on this thing than I want to list here. It's Plasmania all right.
*A 028 LITTLE BRICK OUT
the famous breakout game included with the DOS 3.3 Users' Disk. Best played with a paddle controller, which as usual means playable but unsteady with the analog joysticks Apple IIs eventually had. The code uses a lot of interesting tricks to optimize performance making it run quite fast for a BASIC program.
